Lions Club Free Vision Screening

Thursday April 3rd from noon-2pm

Briones Lions offer free vision screenings to children and general Stinson/Bolinas citizenry at the Bolinas Community Center. This is happening on the Stage while the normal Thursday Food Bank continues in the Hall.

The exam is quick and generates a printed results with details from the screening. It will indicate whether an eye exam is recommended and is not intended for any more than this. Each screening can be completed in 5 to 8 minutes.

Four of the Lions have been recently trained to use the Pediavision “Spot”  for assessment. With grants from Lions International and club donations our Lions District has purchased 5 of these instruments valued at $7,000 per. The Briones Lions Club point person for this project is director Karen Dibblee. Karen co-owns the Bolinas Bay Hardware and lives full time here.
