Aerial Art Performence: “Air Play”

The Bolinas Youth Aerial Artists and Zaccho Youth Company from San Francisco will present a unique and energizing performance at the Bolinas Community Center, 41 Wharf Road, on Sunday, May 25 at 2pm. Stephen Kent & World Music Trio

Trance Mission is world renowned band founded in 1991 by Stephen Kent and Beth Custer that performed extensively on west coast and in Europe during the 1990’s. Together they created four seminal recordings which were released on San Francisco’s City of Tribes label:Trance Mission, Meanwhile…,Head Light, and Day Out of Time charted on CMJ radio and Billboard and creating a buzz in the alternative music world.

THESE HOMES MOVE!
There are some 90 tiny homes here, either rolling on the road or floating in the water. About half of them are lived in full-time; the other half are used part-time, for trips of varying lengths upon life’s highways and waterways. This book follows our best-selling book Tiny Homes: Simple Shelter and describes nomadic life in the 21st century.
In the wheels category are vans, pickup trucks with camper shells, house trucks, school buses, trailers, and cycles. In the water section are sailboats and houseboats.

Memorial for Annie Crotts

Please join Annie’s Family at the Bolinas Calvary Presbyterian Church (Brighton and Wharf)  at 10 am on May 9th for a funeral service followed by a burial at the Bolinas Cemetery. Around 2pm on Friday come celebrate Annie’s life with a Community Potluck at the Bolinas Community Center. Please walk if you can or car pool since parking is limited. Annie’s family has requested for no alcoholic beverages and to remember to bring your potluck dishes home with you too!

A&G2014Well now that was fun!   What a beautiful music filled weekend at the Art & Garden at the BCC.

Thanks to all the volunteers, artists, bakers, musicians and everyone who donated for and participated in the auction.
