7pm Regenerative Herbalism with Penny Livingston-Stark

Regenerative Herbalism is a wholistic approach to herbalism that involves enhancing the environment while developing deep connections to plants on multiple levels. Penny will share her experience and journey into the world of plant healing as well as tools to develop a deeper knowledge of the mystical and magical world of healing herbs. Penny will explore: the benefits medicinal plants share with the Earth’s biosystems, ethics of harvesting and growing herbs, specific “rock star” herbs featured at Comonweal Garden that are easy to grow and have multiple uses techniques of preserving the healing constituents that plants hold and tools for tuning in deeper to learn to “listen” to what the plants are offering to us.
