Learn a series of gentle focused movements that can be practiced daily to re-educate the body to move freely with ease and flexibility. Somatic Exercises release habituated pain and chronic discomfort, restores muscle function and renewed awareness in moving through daily life. BCAST Theater Classes are designed to extend the student’s creative drama experience by expanding their imagination, building their confidence, and developing sensitivity (listening & observing skills) during the process of creating & problem solving when working with others. Theater exercises focus on spontaneity, presence of mind, and the power of positive choice while strengthening the actor’s body, mind & voice.

Beginning Yoga with Brenda Stine ~6:00 – 7:15 pm (ON HOLD TILL SUMMER 2018)
Each class will be a balanced mix of strengthening, lengthening and relaxing poses, with continuity from week to week so you can really see what a difference a regular yoga practice can make. We will also lso build up to a “peak pose” that varies from class to class, so we are sure to cover a variety of poses every month: chest openers, back openers, balancing poses, inversions, etc.

Start your day with a dynamic yoga class that moves fluidly through poses, with mindful attention to your body and breath. The class is set to music and is both vigorous and relaxing: restoring balance to body, mind and soul.

After-School Spanish for 3rd-6th Graders,~ 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. A series of seven classes. $75 per student. Help your child stretch her/his mind with the mental gymnastics of learning a second language! Fun class focusing on communication/conversation and developing an ear for the sounds of the language. Aikido is a non-aggressive form of self-defense that emphasizes the control of the self as the path to control of a situation. Wear loose clothing or martial arts gi. Cost $5 mat fee per session. Ages 10 and up. All experience levels welcome. Sensei is Bruce Fox, Godan in Seidokan Aikido, the chief instructor at Point Reyes Aikido.
